Glassticine is a breakthrough material that will allow to reuse at least 100,000 tonnes of waste glass that would otherwise end up in landfills in the EU annually.
WHAT IS GLASSTICINE
Glassticine is lightweight, non-toxic and mouldable, with pore sizes from 30 to 180 µm. Made from recycled waste glass or, in the pure version, from high quality glass sand. It was developed at the Technical University of Liberec as a material that offers unexpected possibilities of use.

GLASSTICINE provides an ideal substrate for hydroponic systems that can be reused repeatedly. Shapes and porosity are easily adapted to your plants' needs and the material can be recycled at the end of its life cycle.
